Hey FC 25 players! Welcome to today's FC 25 Daily Report. We're diving into the latest in-game happenings, including new SBC players, Evolution programs, and various reward activities to make sure you stay ahead on the pitch!
Let's jump straight into the in-game content.
Player Spotlight: Nuno Mendes & Potential Portuguese National Team Cards
Nuno Mendes has been absolutely fantastic in real life, so his overall rating is definitely set for a boost next season. He's already a solid gold card, and many expect him to hit an 87 OVR as a left-back. His pace is exceptional, and with around 80 in defending and passing, he could even get the "Controlled Sprint" PlayStyle. Of course, players like Theo Hernández are elite at left-back, but not everyone can afford him, so having more great left-back options is always welcome. His chemistry links are also good – Portuguese + Paris Saint-Germain. Given PSG's league win this season, we'll likely see more high-rated gold or special cards from them next season, making a Ligue 1 squad a potentially strong option for early game.There's also a suggestion from another content creator: could EA release a Portuguese national team squad if they won the UEFA Nations League, perhaps a 96 or 97 OVR card? If that happened, it would be incredible, as Portugal already boasts strong cards like Cristiano Ronaldo, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, and Bruno Fernandes. However, it's uncertain if EA holds the Nations League license, so it's a long shot. But if it did happen, it would be a pleasant surprise!
Weekend Content Review & New SBCs
Sunday's content was pretty similar to Saturday's, nothing groundbreaking. We got a Hero Player Pick "lottery pack" – nothing new there. There's also a Bundesliga TOTS "lottery pack" which is worth considering. At 50k FC 25 Coins, it's a decent gamble for a chance to pull a top-tier Bundesliga card. The Challenge 2 small pack isn't really worth mentioning."End of an Era" Luka Modrić
Today's "End of an Era" player is an emotional one: Luka Modrić. This card carries a lot of sentiment, as he's the last of Real Madrid's "Ceremonial Midfield" to leave. His price tag of 820k FC 25 Coins is reasonable; for a card with this much emotional weight or in terms of pure in-game performance, that's not outlandish at the end of the season. Real Madrid fans will definitely be completing him. For those focused on meta, whether you do him depends on your current midfield options. If you don't have particularly strong midfielders, he's definitely worth considering.He's a 96 OVR with 5-star skill moves, 5-star weak foot, and 4 PlayStyles+. While he has CAM and CDM as alternate positions, Modrić truly excels as a Box-to-Box midfielder. His PlayStyles+ include "Gold Incisive Pass," Gold Power Shot, Gold Relentless,and Gold Technical. His regular PlayStyles are also excellent: Silver Trivela, maxed-out passing PlayStyles, plus Silver Whipped Pass, Silver Rapid, Silver Outside Foot Shot, and Silver Magnet. Perhaps the only missing PlayStyle is "Anticipate" for a truly complete box-to-box presence. However, even without it, his 96 stamina should see him through most of a match; just keep a substitute handy. Most players will have plenty of Evolution cards on their bench by now. His stats are also phenomenal: 96 passing, 96 dribbling, and everything else above 90. He can definitely play as a CAM or a B2B midfielder. Playing him at CDM isn't recommended due to his smaller build and height. Overall, he's a very solid card.
New Evolution: 92 RW Evolution
Today's Evolution is a 92-rated Right Winger, which was leaked yesterday. It provides a new Left Wing position. If you don't have a dedicated LW, 2.6 million FC 25 Coins isn't overly expensive. It will add a position to popular inverted wingers. The PlayStyles given in order are Gold Trivela, Gold Controlled Sprint, and "Gold Low Driven." These are all essential PlayStyles for wingers, especially Gold Trivela. Regular PlayStyles include Power Shot, Bicycle Kick, and "Low Driven Shot +7 points." Overall attributes also get around a 7-point boost.The most important aspect, in my opinion, is if you have a right-footed right winger who you want to use for Trivela shots. This Evolution allows them to switch to the left side and gain the Trivela PlayStyle, essentially letting you use their weaker foot for Trivela shots from the left – which is fantastic. If you have a solid base card, give it a try. There are many popular POTW players you can use. Lamine Yamal is left-footed, so he's still better on the right. But for players like Jeremy Doku or João Cancelo, who are naturally right-footed right wingers, if you want them to play Left Wing and be able to hit Trivelas, this is your chance. You can also try newly signed Chelsea player Omari Hutchinson, and many other right wingers, including Mohammed Kudus. If you want to use his previous younger card, it was already strong, and with this Evolution, it becomes even better. Adding "Gold Trivela" and "Gold Rapid" would give him two fantastic running PlayStyles. No new objectives today, so nothing else to cover!
