Fortnite v37.10 Update: One-Punch Man Collaboration Begins, Season 10 Is Here!

Fortnite has recently released the v37.10 update, bringing a range of new content, though the overall volume of changes is relatively modest. The highlight of this update is the second phase of the One-Punch Man collaboration, with characters like Tornado and Genos officially joining the game on August 28. Additionally, the Season 10 Battle Pass features the British virtual band "Street Fighter," with some characters unlockable through the pass and others available for purchase in the Item Shop.
The first-person 5v5 "Arsenal" mode has received a major update, finally introducing a fully completed map after six months of waiting. The "Electric Wars" mode has been updated to its Week 11 theme, integrating Iron Station Plaza into the map. Capturing this area grants players access to exotic weapons and a One-Punch Man-themed badge that significantly enhances harvesting tool damage.
The "Throwback" mode has revived the Cube event from Season 5, though with some twists—the Cube is now red, and instead of providing shields, it restores health when approached. It also teleports players via red rifts rather than emitting purple lightning.
In terms of cosmetics, 18 new outfits have been introduced, alongside the return of over 30 previous skins. In addition to the three One-Punch Man collaboration skins, Hatsune Miku will also make a reappearance in the Item Shop. The new Monthly Crew Pack skins require a six-month subscription to unlock all styles, but their special effects are impressive. The FNCS Champion Witch skin has also returned, featuring a sleek design that many players will appreciate. New OXR and Agent series skins have been added as well, offering a variety of styles to suit different preferences.
On the technical side, the long-awaited client optimization feature, announced nearly a year ago, still shows no significant changes. The Rocket Racing mode may undergo major adjustments in the future, with leaks suggesting that Epic is developing a garage system for customizing vehicle appearances in-game. New pet and battle royale modes are also in development, though progress seems slow, and the collaboration with Disney is reportedly not proceeding as smoothly as expected.
In terms of storyline, the alien parasite infestation continues to expand across the island, with some areas completely consumed. A mysterious black monolith has appeared on the map, emitting strange audio cues that may be tied to an upcoming music event. While no major plot advancements have occurred, hidden Easter eggs and clues suggest deeper developments ahead.
The v37.10 update maintains Fortnite's signature strength in collaborations and diverse gameplay, though some players feel the amount of new content has decreased compared to earlier seasons. It is reported that the game's average concurrent player count may stabilize around one million, a reminder of the game's peak days of weekly high-intensity updates.
