Diablo 4's "Winter Proofs" are a special currency exclusive to the "Winter's Decay" event. This guide will help you learn some strategies you can use to farm large amounts of Midwinter Evidence in Diablo 4.
The Making of Diablo 4's Midwinter Proof
Diablo 4's "Winter's Die" event (affected areas are marked with an orange border) features "Winter's Die" themed enemies. These enemies drop Bright Shards, which are needed to create Midwinter Tokens. In addition, defeating the Red Robe Horror Monster in this event will also earn you the Red Robe Trophy, which can be exchanged for the Midwinter Certificate.Winter demons appear in the snowy areas of Quevasado. The 3rd level Midwinter Tribute upgrade significantly increases Midwinter Token production time by increasing the drop rate of Bright Shards and Lost Heirlooms in Nightmare Dungeons. Alternating between two specific events will increase your chances of encountering Blight Frenzy spawns that will give you a large amount of currency.
Once you have collected enough currency, you can exchange it for the following items:
- Blighted Fragments: 300 for 1 Midwinter Proof.
- Lost Heirlooms: 30 for 1 Midwinter Proof.
