Diablo 4: Malignant Hearts and effects description

Marignant Heart is the protagonist of Diablo 4 Season 1 (officially titled "Season of Marignant"). In Season 1, you can slay vicious enemies, capture hearts, and place them in unique jewel slots. Each Vicious Heart has its own legendary type effect, and when 3 seats are equipped, it becomes more powerful than ever.

There are four different heart types in Diablo 4 season 1:
Vicious Hearts — Offensive, go in red jewelry sockets
Brutal Hearts — Defensive, go in blue jewelry sockets
Devious Hearts — Utility, go in purple jewelry sockets
Wrathful Hearts — Extremely powerful effects, can go in any of the three sockets

You can find Mariont Hearts in different colors when playing the game normally or when fighting elite enemies. Alternatively, once you've crafted the special item, you can enter the new Vicious Tunnel and choose the Vicious Heart color you want as a reward.

VICIOUS MALIGNANT HEARTS LIST
The Evil Heart is an offensive base power that attaches to the jewel's evil red socket. As with other heart types, there are 3 evil hearts regardless of class, and 1 unique evil heart per class.

BRUTAL MALIGNANT HEARTS LIST
The Heart of Cruel Mariant is a defensive power worn in the jewel's cruel blue socket. Like the other heart types, Cruel Hearts have three class agnostics, each with a unique Cruel Heart.

DEVIOUS MALIGNANT HEARTS LIST
The Heart of Cunning is a utility power that connects to the Jewel's Cunning Purple Socket. Like the other heart types, each class has 3 debius malignant hearts independent of the class and a unique debius malignant heart.

WRATHFUL MALIGNANT HEARTS LIST
The angry vicious heart has "super" powers and fits into any color socket in your jewelry. Like other heart types, there are 3 Angry and Grudge hearts regardless of class, and 1 unique Raging and Grudge heart per class.
